Go to the website and check out their fucking awesome new songs!
Also check out their in my opinion, a classic A Dark In The Light song called A Darkness In The Light....This is an awesome video of a great song!

Be there at the CD Release Party this Friday night at the Middle East CLub Upstairs!

You will not be dissapointed!

A Dark In The Light is a band based out of Boston, Massachusetts that brings the melodic elements of southern blues together with grunge and brutal metal as one cohesive sound. The band was formed in Gainesville, Florida by Mike McCarthy (guitar/vocals) and Seth Roberts (drums/vocals), before re-locating to Boston and finding new inspiration via the addition of talented bassist Robert MacLeod.

Through influences ranging from Pantera, to Alice in Chains, to The Allman Brothers, A Dark In The Light refuses to conform to any one sound and will not be limited by the constraints of modern heavy music. The band has recently recorded their debut E.P. entitled The Nature of What's To Come at the Moontower Studios in Cambridge, MA.

The band has played to near sold out crowds at the Freebird live CafĂ© in Jacksonville, Florida, Harpers Ferry in Allston, Massachusetts and the Middle East Club in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Through its dynamic live performance in which the band’s passion and talent takes center-stage, A Dark In The Light will stop at nothing to bring good times rock n’ roll back to the heavy music community.

3HT

3HT

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3HGQXZHF

1. Shine
2. Stuntman

3ht began when Andrew Mueskes, Billy LeBlond, and Sean Weldon got together for a jam session in late 2005. After realizing their mutual interest in music, they decided to put together a group to play at a school assembly later in that year. In preparation for the show, the trio picked up Jeff Sullivan on bass, and Matt P. on drums. In April 2006, the group played a cover of Green Day's "Brain Stew" which was an instant hit to the audience, and the group realized that they could take their music to the next level. The group then chose the name of 3ht, and Danny Shores took over behind the kit of the newly formed band. Since then, 3ht is still going strong today. In late 2007, they released their first EP, self titled "3ht", under the production of EJ Oulette and Pine Island Music Resource in Byfield, MA. They are now in the process of writing material for their next CD, release date TBD.

"All songs Copyright 2008. All rights reserved"

The Tom McElman Band is an eclectic blend of Rock, Blues, and Funk. The nucleus of the band/project is Tom McElman on Vocals and Guitars (sometimes bass, sometimes keyboards) and Sean Moore on Drums. Tom and Sean write the songs and additional players, if needed, are added during the recording process.

Tom, originally from Boston, has a long history playing in hard rock bands such as Vernia Caliper and Strombringer but grew up listening to Blues. It was his father that first exposed him to Fats Domino, from there, Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Sonny Boy Williamson but when he heard Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple for the first time, the music took on more of an edge.

Sean, actually born in the Boston area, grew up in Cincinnati and has been in Rock and Blues bands for most of his life. The two got together back in 1997 and has been writing music and producing and recording bands ever since.

Tom was recently diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD). It is a genetic disease that usually goes undetected in men and women until they're in their late 30s. There is no cure and it is currently untreatable. However, as with all diseases, there's always hope. You can help by going to http://www.pkdcure.com/ and learning more about the disease. If you can make a monetary donation or donate your time, it would be more than appreciated!
